Nichtlustig comics

Another resource I have been using is "Nichtlustig", which are accessible online. These one-panel comics are good fun to decode, using the vocabulary I know. Otherwise, it gives me an opportunity to learn new vocabulary with help from Google translate. My favourites include:

"Then we have a murder. But the victim is still running around here somewhere."

"Somehow I ask myself, if we have changed too much in our last time travel." "Ach, you always… happy CHEESEmas!" (German for Christmas is Weinachten.)
