More Rock!

So last weekend I got to add to my ascents in The Crag. The different types of ascents you can log definitely encouraged me to persevere whilst on the rock, as you get a different sort of tick if you fall back on the rope vs zooming up. It was SUPER COLD and it meant the rock was cold too, so as soon as you jumped on, any warming up was frosted away real quick. It made crimps particularly difficult to persevere on as you literally couldn't feel how much of a hold you had on the rock!
I got to do my first successful lead climb (with preplaced quickdraws though). I did the climb toprope first and that definitely helped me feel less like I was going to fall off and die when I did it lead.
