This weekend took an unexpectedly religious turn, which I've decided to put towards my Faith Awareness in consultation with my mentor:

- Identify, describe and visit a religious festival celebrated in a religious tradition other than your own. Make a visual record of aspects of the festival that appeared significant to you

For this challenge I will be discussing the Baha'i Funeral and Memorial service (two events) of my friend's grandfather, both of which I attended and in the case of the Memorial service, contributed to.

- Identify and explain the significance of religious artwork, dress, symbolism or music within a world religion other than your own (I plan to use music).

This weekend I went on a yogic overnight retreat with my family, where we participated in a Kirtan - a singing meditation related to Buddhist/Hindu traditions. I thought it would be interesting to compare and contrast the use of music between Christian faiths, Buddhist/Hindu/Yogic, and Baha'i based on the events that I went to.
